From early childhood I was overweight, but I was so used to living in this body that I did not want to change anything. I loved to eat delicious food, did not follow the meal schedule, and even more so did not do any physical exercises. At 28, I became interested in vegetarianism. My friend began to feel better with the help of yoga and giving up meat.

I asked myself: “can I lose 3 pounds a week?” It was my little goal and experiment on myself. For me, it was not just a way to lose weight or improve your health. The deeper I got to know this “culture”, the more I realized that vegetarianism combines a deeper sacred meaning in harmony with physical data. In other words, vegetarianism is not just a rejection of meat. I believe that it is a useful contribution to the future of the planet in an ecological and ethical sense.

After I stopped eating meat and other animal products, I started to lose weight faster. Can I lose 3 pounds a week? – easily! And even more.My body positively accepted changes in the diet. For me, it didn’t look like a diet or anything like that. Along with this, I stopped using white sugar in tea or coffee. The first results were not long in coming. I consistently lost a small amount of weight, while I had excellent health. You can also lose weight and be healthy without strict diets and heavy exercise.

What foods can replace meat and how to start losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks?

My colleague at work when she found out about my choice in favor of vegetarianism asked me: “What are you eating? After all, in meat, how many useful elements are necessary for the body? ”She is right, meat is a direct source of protein and if you do not seriously approach this issue, you can deplete your body, because it will not receive the resources it needs. My weight loss increased to 10 pounds in 2 weeks.

I replaced the meat with the following products: legumes (beans, peas, soybeans, lentils, chickpeas) in combination with other vegetables; nuts; mushrooms are a low-calorie product, but you should not eat them every day; cereals are rich in protein. Following a balanced diet, I began to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Now my weight is 123 pounds, I still do not eat meat and support people who choose vegetarianism.
