The basis of the diet is that to minimize weight it is necessary to limit the intake of carbohydrates.

The diet consists of four phases, on the last of which a person must remain all his life. You see the result already from the first two phases, which provide a sharp weight loss.

Side effects of the Ducan diet

This diet has a small list of side effects, but if you be careful and responsible for your health, a negative result can be avoided. Side effects:

  • Deficiency of vitamins in the body;
  • Digestive problems;
  • Bad breath is possible;
  • There may be problems with the skin and skin on the lips.

If you started to stick to the Ducan diet and noticed that side effects from the diet began to influence you, try to eliminate them (I will write about this a bit later), but if the precautions do not help you, then you should quickly abandon this idea.

Protein products can be eaten at any time, in any quantities, both during the attack phase and at any other stage of the diet. The second stage is Alternation. At this point, you should consume 2 tablespoons of oat bran per day.

At this stage, you alternate protein days with protein-vegetable days. One day only squirrels, the second-day squirrels with vegetables. The amount of vegetables and protein products is not limited. But you must forbid yourself to eat:

  • Potatoes;
  • All types of cereals;
  • All types of pasta;
  • Peas;
  • Corn;
  • Beans;
  • Olives;
  • Avocado;
  • Lentils.

The third stage – Fastening. The name itself indicates what this stage implies. Increase your oat bran intake to 2.5 tablespoons per day. Add one fruit per day to your diet (I had an apple).

You can also eat one slice of cheese per day (40 g), several times a week you can eat an unlimited amount of lamb meat, fried pork, bacon. At this phase, a pleasant innovation appears – this is a portion of starch-containing products, but no more than once a week.

The fourth stage is the stabilization. To keep the result, eat 3 tablespoons of oat bran every day, observe “protein Thursday”, although you can choose any other day of the week, just remember that on this day you do not eat anything other than protein foods.

Drink plenty of water and walk! The last phase becomes your lifestyle, in which you adhere to an unlimited amount of time. The duration of the previous phases is determined individually for each person.
