Add a cup of tea to your diet

Many people dream about losing weight without making efforts, not limiting you to diets and not exhausting with training. Around this desire has formed a huge industry offering “wait for a miracle to lose weight.” The most popular miracle about the weight loss method is to drink special tea. Look how perfect is it – you drink tea with sweets and lose weight! But think about this: the topic of weight loss has become relevant only in the last 40-50 years. Before this, most people were interested in another problem – how not to lose their weight and maintain strength until old age. Exhaustion meant illness and inability to work. They drank tea not for weight loss, but vigor, for treatment and just for fun. So, when choosing tea for weight loss, study its composition and do not pay attention to beautiful legends.

Tea is divided into three groups: the actual teas, that is, the leaves of the tea bush or tree, a small group of non-tea teas and herbal teas or collections containing several components. Traditional tea for weight loss includes Chinese green tea, oolong tea, and puer. The so-called non-tea teas are rooibos, mate and hibiscus (hibiscus). To herbal teas and fees, we can add drinks from many components – herbs, berries, fruits, spices. When used correctly, all of them will help to lose weight to some extent, but if used improperly, they will be harmful.

Chinese teas

Numerous modern studies conducted by scientists from Japan, China and Korea have shown that any quality tea contains about 300 elements useful to humans. Quality tea, in this case, means fresh and properly prepared white and green tea and oolong tea. If these conditions are met, then any tea will help to lose weight, regardless of variety. More precisely, normalizing weight is just a side effect of good tea. First of all, it provides vitamins and minerals, lowers blood cholesterol, normalizes metabolism, accelerates fat burning, protects cells from damage by free radicals and gives energy for an active life and exercise. With the regular use of white, green tea or oolong, the excess weight goes away gradually, but surely. In this case, you do not need to count calories and go on a diet, it is enough to exclude fast food, convenience foods and sweets based on margarine, and of course, do not add sugar to tea. However, properly prepared tea does not need sugar – it tastes very good even without it. To achieve a sustainable result, freshly brewed tea should be drunk every day, replacing it with all other drinks.

To lose weight with Chinese tea, choose only fresh green teas. After a year of storage, the amount of nutrients in tea is significantly reduced. Naturally, tea should be free of flavors, colorants and other components. As a rule, tea that is already several years old is flavored. Fresh tea does not need this, as it has a very bright own aroma.

The brewing method also affects the properties of tea. Drink only freshly brewed tea that has been infused for a few seconds. After the first brewing, good tea can be brewed many more times – up to 10. Do not brew green tea or oolong tea until bitterness. A bitter taste means that harmful substances have entered the infusion. Brewed tea will not accelerate weight loss, but it can harm the stomach and intestines. Green tea is not recommended to be drunk on an empty stomach, as it activates digestion. The best time for a cup of tea is 20-30 minutes after eating.
